Played around with an HDR program, not really knowing what I am doing!  Here is the resulting image.

How about a couple of texture photos?

Jan 16

I just got a miniature 'studio'.  I played around a bit with it the other night.

I just love the details in ice crystals, snowflakes and in the transforming from solid back to liquid!

Jan 14

Wow!  I didn't realize I was a week behind already!  I haven't been out shooting very much, but have more frosty photos.
This one is TRANSFORMATION

This is one of my close friends from the scrapbooking weekend, Theresa.

Jan 7

I spent this weekend with a fine group of ladies scrapbooking!  We had a bit of fun goofing off outside with my camera and took some pictures.  This is Pam.

I love graffiti!  I don't know if I can spell it properly, but I just love the graphic nature of graffiti and the bold colors!  Too bad I don't have a beckon-call model to come with me on these shoots!!  This would make for a cool backdrop.

Jan 5

I went to the Rappahannock River this morning.  The weather was a bit milder than the other day!  It was in the forties!  I think one of my favorite subjects is reflections.

18 degrees outside this morning!!  It's the perfect weather for a photo shoot treasure hunt!!

Jan 3

Wow, have I been out of practice!!  Putting the camera on manual, it's been on auto too long!!

Jan 2

I love having his old camera and feel very much connected to him when I look at it.  It is only fitting that he and his camera start off my new year with loving memories.  I miss his quiet strength very much.

Jan 1

Thought I would start off the New Year with two photos of my greatest inspiration to become a photographer.  My grandfather (Erwin Bacon) was never without his trusty Polaroid camera!  I am proud to say that I know have this awesome keepsake and take it out often just to look at it and remember all those old photos!
