I have decided to do another year of a photo a day! I am looking forward to the challenge and to expanding my horizons. My goal is to attend photography meetups, learn as much as possible and go on shoot-outs as often as I can! Hopefully this will help me gain the real-world knowledge I need when it comes to photography. Nothing is quite so sobering as meeting real professional photographers and learning that you don't compare at all with knowledge level/experience!! I am excited about the coming year. I hope yours is amazing.

Just a Thought
After watching Democrats and Republicans go back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth on nearly every issue they have been handed, I am disgusted!!
It occurs to me that perhaps I should do something about the current state of affairs in DC. I am toying with the idea of creating a not-for-profit organization to hire real professionals to run the government! Real moms, who know how to stretch a dollar, plan for college, multi-task constantly and know when someone is just blowing smoke up their skirts are the women who should be running the government!! Moms who don't need college degrees to tell you that your idea is stupid, need to go run the House and Senate! Women who don't care what your organization is or does and won't compromise, the same way they don't compromise for their own families!
The Occupy Movement is good, but lacks specific leadership and direction. My organization will seek to remove every politician from office and without Republican and Democratic platforms==put REAL WOMEN in their places!!
My organization will be called Mothers Against Politicians. MAP will map out a common sense approach to politics that is run more like the middle class households. MAP will not fund useless research, will not line the pockets of special interest organizations. MAP will make common sense changes to tax laws. Map will make changes to healthcare and insurance to streamline the processes for every American. Map will not reward the rich with further tax breaks but require them to pay their fair share! Huge corporations with tax shelters will become unsheltered and pay for their part as well!!
I think MAP could change politics in America for good!! What do you think?
